Description

Blocks are the basic units of structure. Fluids (or liquids) are blocks that are able to flow over the terrain. Fire is a non-solid block that can spread to nearby flammable blocks and destroy them. Air is a special unbreakable transparent block that's used as a substitute for the absence of blocks.

Blocks, fluids, fire and air build up the environment, and most can be harvested and utilized in various fashions.

Many blocks fill their cell in 3-dimensional grid (also referred to as cubic meter), while some appear to occupy a partial cell, such as slabs, snow layers, vines, stairs, etc.

Block properties include:

  • Opaque/Transparent;
  • Conductivity;
  • Blast resistance;
  • Hardness;
  • Luminous;
  • Flammable;
  • Gravity-affected;
  • Utility: interactable, utilizable and redstone/mechanical blocks.
