Introduction

Early ressources

  • Get wood
    • Firstly take some flint by breaking gravel
    • Then break it on hard surface to make flint shards
    • And then make a knife to cut plant fiber
    • Make a hatchet
    • You can now have wood!

Beginner guides

  • Early Game Base:
    • In the early game, a dirt box or an underground base are the safest bases. Cobblestone can be melted by Volcans and wooden structures can be burned by a myriad of mobs.
  • and more

Shelter

  • Best Biomes for Building a Base:
    • Plains: Temperate biome with relatively flat land. Plentiful villages, food, and basic resources make this biome an excellent early game choice
  • Biomes not recommended for an early game base:
    • Any Cold Biome: Constantly cold, especially bad in winter. Considerably strong enemies make this biome a poor early game choice
    • Desert or Desert Variants: Far too hot all the time, and mediocre loot make this biome another poor early game choice

General

  • Adventuring

Once you have a small base and potentially some basic infrastructure, it's a good idea to begin exploring. Exploring is an excellent source of XP, as long as you have basic equipment. Make many copies of the same atlas by combining a blank atlas with another opened one. Any edits on one atlas affect all other atlases with the same number. Mark any useful structures you want to come back, and write down the name of the village on your atlas so you know where you're teleporting. Early game mounts can be very useful, such as Erepedes, tamed with insect treats, and even simple horses can make a nice mount. Also, Hippogryph's, tamed with rabbit's feet, are an easy to obtain flying mount.

  • Getting Max Gear

Obtaining max gear is a slow but extremely rewarding process. You can explore for enchantment books, or breed/cure librarian villagers to obtain them in a safer and more reliable manner. Baubles, such as the Ankh Charm and Shield of Honor are a grind to obtain, with many rare drops required.

Interactable and utility blocks

These tutorials provide information on how some utility block system work.

Challenges

  • Slaying first dragon
  • Lycanite Minibosses and Bosses
  • Overcoming Nether
  • Conquering End
  • Surviving Lost Cities

Construction

  • Building with cobblestone and any flammable materials is not recommended. Volcan can melt cobblestone, and a myriad of other Lycanites Mobs creatures can burn down flammable structures. What you should build with are Lycanites Mobs blocks. They cannot be destroyed by Dragon or other mobs, and can look quite good, making them an excellent choice for builds in every dimension, except for the Lost Cities.

Farming

The player has a choice among a variety of farming methods and designs. While a huge automatic farm may be useful when large supplies of a certain crop are needed, it's important to remember that a small, simple farm can easily provide enough resources for an early-game player, or casual use in general.

Items

Mobs

  • Farming can spawn dangerous mobs that can easily kill an unequipped or unprepared player.
    • Triffid: A huge deadly plant that inflicts plague
    • Spriggan: Flying plant monster that inflicts poison
  • A way to avoid these lethal enemies is listed under Farming Practices.
