Haunted Buildings are a feature from Lost Souls to make The Lost Cities more challenging

About

In The Lost Cities, buildings may be haunted, which will cause the player to be unable to access chests in the buildings, the buildings can be cleansed by killing mobs that spawn inside the buildings. These following chat messages will display, showing you the status of the building:

• You feel uneasy entering this building - The building is haunted

• A magical force seems to be preventing you from touching this - The building is still haunted

• Something tells you you're close to vanquishing all evil here - You are close to cleansing the building

• You feel as if a curse has been lifted from the building - The building is no longer haunted, you can freely access the chests in the building

Structure

There are a multitude of different buildings in The Lost Cities that can generate. Sometimes buildings are even made of materials from other mods as their building blocks (for example the Defiled Lands).
