Khalk are large magma dwelling turtle-like creatures that live in pools of lava deep underground.
Behavior
Khalk are aggressive and will attack the player. They deal a devastating melee attack, and also inflict Smoldering. Fortunately, they are very slow. When killed, they spawn a temporary pool of lava! This can be used to earn the Achievement "Run, It's Melting!".
Spawning
Khalk can spawn in any Overworld biome, in the Nether or in The End. Can only spawn in lava (y ≤ 50).
Khalk spawners can be found in Volcanic Doomlike Dungeons.
variants
For every Khalk that spawns there is a 10% chance for it to be an Uncommon variants. Uncommon variants can be either Azure or Violet.
