Krake
The Krake is a neutral creature from Lycanites Mobs that will become hostile if the player is sprinting nearby or if they are attacked first.
Spawning
Krake can spawn in biomes that have the following biome tags:
- River
Krake can not spawn in biomes that have the following biome tags:
- Snowy
Behavior
Krake are neutral mobs that will attack if first attacked or if the player is sprinting while nearby. They attack by quickly running at the player and dealing 2 damage on contact. If the Krake are angered by sprinting near them, they can be calmed if the player stops sprinting. Like wolves, nearby Krake will become hostile if one of their kin is harmed within a short distance of them.
Krake are incredibly fast, and can quickly catch the player if they try to run away. If the Krake are angered by attacking them, the best option is to attack one at a time, in order to prevent yourself from getting overwhelmed.
Farming
Krakes can be bred with any type of meat in the game including rotten flesh, and with pumpkin pie. When breeding them avoid sprinting as they will become hostile and wont be able to be bred.
variants
For every Krake that spawns, there is a 10% chance for it to be an Uncommon variants. Uncommon Krake can be Lux or Keppel. A Lux Krake has a sandish white body and a purple mouth, and a Keppel Krake has a blue body and a red mouth. Uncommon Krakes have higher stats than a regular Krakes. This does not change their behavior.
