Level Up! Reloaded is a mod created by BeetoGuy that adds a passive skill tree to Minecraft, as well as a proficiency system. The GUI is accessed by pressing L once you reach level 5. You can then choose a specialization.
No matter which specialization you choose, you can still level up the skills of the other specialization.
A Book of Specialization Change can be used to change the specialization. Using this book will not consume it, but will consume 30 experience levels.
Specializations
Mining Specialization
Gain experience while mining ores
- Stonecutting
- Increases stone harvesting speed
- +5% speed per level
- Max Level: 10
- Prospecting (requires 1 level in Stonecutting)
- Potential to double ore harvests
- +5% chance of doubling per level
- Max Level: 5
- Woodcutting
- Increases wood harvesting speed
- +4% speed per level
- Max Level: 20
- Lumbering (requires 1 level in Woodcutting)
- Potential extra drops from log harvesting
- +3% chance per level
- Max Level: 5
- Sprint Speed
- Increases sprinting speed
- +5% sprint speed per level
- Max Level: 10
- Athletics (requires 1 level in Sprint Speed)
- Decreases fall damage
- -10% fall damage per level
- Max Level: 5
- Flint Harvesting
- Harvests flint more effectively
- +10% chance of flint from gravel per level
- Max Level: 10
- Treasure Hunting (requires 1 level in Flint Harvesting)
- Random chance of digging up treasure from dirt
- +5% chance of loot per level
- Max Level: 5
Crafting Specialization
Gain experience from crafting
- Cooking Speed
- Increases furnace cooking speed
- Random tick increase +1 per level
- Shift-Right Clock with empty hands to bind a furnace to you (only works with vanilla furnaces)
- Max Level: 5
- Smelting Efficiency (requires 1 level in Cooking Speed)
- Sometimes doubles smelting output
- +4% chance of output doubling per level
- Max Level: 10
- Brewing Speed (requires 1 level in Cooking Speed)
- Increases brewing speed
- Random tick increase +1 per level
- Shift-Right Click with empty hands to bind brewing stand to you
- Max Level: 5
- Green Thumb
- Occasionally gives nearby crops extra growth ticks
- +2% chance in increasing radius per level
- Max Level: 10
- Harvest Efficiency (requires 1 level in Green Thumb)
- Gives extra crops on harvest
- +10% chance per level
- Max Level: 10
- Fishing Proficiency
- Chance of hooking something extra when fishing
- +5% chance per level
- Max Level: 10
Combat Specialization
Gain more experience from slaying mobs.
- Random Crits
- Randomly doubles damage output for direct attacks
- +5% chance per level
- Max Level: 5
- Melee Damage (requires 1 level in Random Crits)
- Increases direct damage output
- +5% direct damage per level
- Max Level: 10
- Archery
- Draw bowstring back faster
- Max Level: 10
- Arrow Speed (requires 1 level in Archery)
- Arrows travel faster
- +10% speed per level
- Max Level: 5
- Stealth
- Sneaking decreases mob detection range
- -5% sight range per level
- Max Level: 10
- Stealth Damage (requires 1 level in Stealth)
- Increases sneak attack damage
- +15% projectile damage per level
- +30% melee damage per level
- Max Level: 5
- Sneak Speed (requires 1 level in Stealth Damage and Athletics)
- Increases sneak speed
- +10% speed per level
- Max Level: 10
- Shield Proficiency
- Shields block unblockable damage occasionally
- +10% chance of full block per level
- Max Level: 5
- Iron Skin (requires 1 level in Shield Proficiency)
- Reduces damage taken
- +5% damage reduction per level
- Max Level: 5
