I recomend using the mod included with the pack JEI (just enought items) to find the recipe or use of any item

you can use it to search up recipe or uses for items. Just go into you invintory and on the bottom right there should be a serch bar. Type your desired item into the search bar, click the item with your mouse and there you have the crafting table recipe. and if you hit "U" it should tell you what it can be used for. ("U" is the defualt keybind)
