Description
A tower shield is a tool used for protecting the player against attacks. It comes in wood, stone, iron, diamond, obsidian, bronze and silver variations.
The only functional difference between a tower shield and its regular counterpart is the ability to apply colored banners to tower shields like you can with the vanilla one. Otherwise, they are equivalent to each other in both resource cost and protection.

Usage
Defense
Shields are used for blocking incoming attacks using right click blocking attacks decreases durability. Some effects may still harm you but not all.
