Battle Tower Golem
The Battle Tower Golem is a mob from the Battle Towers mod. It appears to be made of stone bricks with one eye in the centre of its face.
Spawning
Battle Tower Golems spawn in Battle Towers or Mega Battle Towers. In Battle Towers it spawns either at the top or the bottom or when opening the chest on the top floor.
Drops
0-2 Paper, 8-11 Clay Blocks and Diamonds and Redstone drop the same amount based on the type of the tower it spawned in.
Behavior
The Battle Tower Golem will aggro to the player either when they go to the last floor or if the player opens the chest on the second to last floor. The Golem has 300 base health.
After defeating the Golem, you have a chance to get a notification that the Tower is collapsing; the Tower will continue to collapse until it is near the ground level.
Attacks
The Golem, with a base damage of 7 + the towerID of the tower it spawned in, has 3 attacks:
- Melee: The Golem will punch the player, dealing decent damage.
- Fireball: The Golem will fire a Fireball at the Player, similar to a Ghast. The Fireball can destroy blocks and can also destroy the Chest at the top or bottom of the tower. The fireball has an Explosion power of 1.
- Apocalypse Stomp: If the Golem thinks that you are hiding in the staircase or otherwise hiding from him, he will do a downwards stomp that breaks nearby blocks and creates a large, damaging explosion with and Explosion power of 4.
Strategies
- You can use a bow or switch bow and shoot chorus arrows at the golem. It will have a chance to teleport to the ground.
- You can place a hopper under the top chests of the battletower, collect the loot from the hopper, to avoid having to open the chest (which resulting in immediately aggroing the golem).
