Concapede
The Concapede is an insect mob in the Lycanite's Mobs mod. They can be found in jungles.
Description
The Concapede is a Centipede-like creature consisting of multiple mobs. The mobs consist of 2 different kinds, the Head and the Segments. All mobs must be killed in order to put an end to the Concapede's life.
Spawning
Concapede can spawn in biomes that have the following biome tags:
- Jungle
Concapede spawners can be found in Jungle Doomlike Dungeons and Dungeons (Vanilla).
Combat
Fighting a Concapede is simple. It is recommended to target the head of the concapede, as targeting the segments will split the concapede, and not affect the main head. The Concapede Head has 8 HP (4 hearts), and each segment has 4 HP (2 hearts) respectively.
Being hit by a Concapede will inflict Poison. (armor is advised)
Farming
Farming Concapedes is done by leading them to a fence with apples. (note that they can climb fences, so a higher wall with a roof is advised.) Once you've done that, feed the Concapede 2 apples. It will have grown 2 segments by now, and then kill the middle segment. The last segment will remain dormant, and if done while the Concapede still has hearts above it, it will not become hostile. After a few days, The segment will have grown a new head, so you can start breeding them.
Trivia
- The Concapede is made up of different mobs, and segments can be seen turning to the side or the player.
- The Concapede Head is the only part that attacks the player, the Segments deal no damage.
- If you kill only a Concapede Head, the Segments will not move or attack, and can be saved for Farming (See Farming for details.)
