Description
Lacedon are marine reptilians that resemble iguanas. They swim in an upright position and quickly move to attack the player. Their attacks deal the weight effect, which causes one to sink in water. This leaves the player quite vulnerable to drowning, and to the attacks of other mobs lurking in the depths.
Spawning
Lacedon can spawn in biomes that have the following biome tags:
- Ocean
- Beach
Can only spawn in water.
Lacedon spawners can be found in Oceanic Doomlike Dungeons and Dungeons (Vanilla).
Behavior
Upon seeing their target, they will rapidly run up to the surface of the water. When they hit the player, they inflict weight. When the player sinks to the bottom, they drown or get killed by the lacedon or other creatures in the water.
