Monster Spawners are blocks that are used for spawning various mobs depending on their location.
Obtaining
From what I've found its only legitimately obtainable through the "Treasure Hunter" perk of the "LevelUp Reloaded" mod.
Spawns
If your looking for monster spawners they are typically found underground and you can find them in places such as:
- Battle Towers
- Roguelike Dungeons
- Lycanites Dungeons
- Caves
Drops
In both late and early game, monster spawners are a good source of experience and can drop:
- Glowstone
- Redstone
- Spectral Silt
- Gold
- Diamonds
- Lapis
- Scarlite
- Ravaging Essence
