Description

Parasites is a status effect gained occasionally by drinking unpurified water sources, bottles, and canteens. Parasites last for 60 seconds, and has a chance to deal damage to you each second. Therefore, Parasites can be a very big deal, although they usually aren't. Parasites can be avoided by drinking purified water.

Trivia

• Despite being a negative effect in gameplay, it is not considered as one. Cure effect from Silver armor set bonus will not make you immune to this effect, but drinking Milk will clear it.
