Silex
Silex is a passive fish-like mob.
Bestiary Description
Beautiful fish with scales encrusted with lapis lazuli. Silex are known to eat the lapis off each other's scales as well as natural formations from rocks.
Spawning
Silex can spawn in any Overwold biome, except biomes that have the following biome tags:
- Ocean
- Beach
Can only spawn in water.
Every time you catch a fish in water, there is a 4.7% chance of a Silex to spawn.
variants
For every Silex that spawns, there is a 10% chance for it to be an Uncommon variants. Uncommon Silex can be Lux or Keppel. A Lux Silex has a purple body, while a Keppel Silex has an emerald body. Uncommon Silex have double the health of a regular Silex
Farming
Silex are able to be bred with Lapis Lazuli, Coal and Diamonds, then killed with a looting sword to get infinite lapis although this is not efficient, making them a possible food source, if not comparably expensive.
