Spectres are mobs added by Charm.
Spawning
They spawn in the darkness at quite a low depth (y ≤ 24), and are almost invisible to see.
Behavior
- Spectres convert Sand to Soul Sand upon death (it must be on top of sand for this to happen).
- Spectres do (almost) no damage, but Blight spectres can still do a considerable amount of damage.
- When they touch the player they curse a weapon, tool or armor item and disappear (wearing a Witch Hat from Quark will protect you from this).
Weaknesses
- They can be defeated by light (light level 8 or higher) or by simply attacking them (they have low health).
