Stoneling
Stonelings are passive mobs added by the Quark mod. They get spooked if a player approaches them, making them run and disappear.
Spawning
They only spawn in the overworld, at y ≤ 20, with a light level of 5 or lower.
Stonelings only spawn in Vanilla Biomes.
Drops
- Heart of Diamond 20%
Holding Item
Stonelings always hold an item, which they drop on death and can be taken if tamed. These items can be:
- Redstone
- Iron Ingot
- Gold Ingot
- Coal
- Zombie Head
- Creeper Head
- Ender Pearl
- Emerald
- Lapis Lazuli
- Diamond
- Name Tag
- Golden Apple
- Saddle
- Iron Pet Armor
- Golden Pet Armor
- Diamond Pet Armor
Taming
You can tame them using Diamonds, or by using a Heart of Diamond on one of the types of stone listed below:
- Stone
- Granite
- Andesite
- Diorite
- Marble
- Limestone
- Basalt
Their appearance depends on the type of stone you use to create them, but can be changed by feeding them another type of stone.
Other
You can give them an item by holding Shift + Right Click on them (do it at a distance, because at close range you will pick them up). Use Right Click to get the item back.
Tips
- Use the bottom floors of a Lycanite dungeon to find them easily!
