Banned Items
The RLCraft modpack uses the Reskillable system and other various config settings to ban certain items for various reasons. As of v2.9.1, there were 3 unique banned items in the modpack.
Wormhole Mirror
Wormhole Mirror is an item from Bountiful Baubles that teleports you to another player, with infinite uses. The item is banned as the Wormhole Potion exists and is considered more balanced.
Lucky Horseshoe
Lucky Horseshoe is an item from Bountiful Baubles that negates all fall damage when equipped. The item is banned as Feather Falling and the Balloon exist, which already negate fall damage by a significant amount. It was also breaking the balance of the modpack. As of 2.9.2, the Lucky Horseshoe is usable again, requiring Agility lvl 32 to use.
Flare Gun / Flare
Flare Gun is an item from Bountiful Baubles that, when loaded with Flares, shoots a colored Flare into the sky for other players to see. As of 2.9.2, the Flare Gun and Flare are usable again.
Previously Banned Items
Magic Mirror
Magic Mirror is an item from Bountiful Baubles that teleports you back to your spawn point, with infinite uses. The item used to be banned due to Recall Potion existing and being considered more balanced, but is now available for use at 32 Magic (Reskillable).
Spears
Spears (Better Survival) are a set of items from Better Survival that can be used as a weapon. They can also be thrown with right click. The item was banned as they used to crash the player when used on servers. While not throwable, the Spartan Weaponry mod also contains Spears (Spartan Weaponry) of its own that can be used as an alternative.
Nunchaku
Nunchaku are a set of items from Better Survival that can be used as a weapon. When attacking, the Nunchaku swing in your hand and do damage automatically. The item was banned as they used to crash the player when used on servers.
Warp Stone
Warp Stone is an item from Waystones that, when used, allows you to teleport to any Waystone you have interacted with. The item was disabled as there are already multiple ways to teleport and it was considered an overpowered method of transportation. You can now craft this item with an Ender Talisman.
