The spear is a one handed weapon from Spartan Weaponry.
It has the Reach I attribute which gives it some extra range which is very important in early game, making it a recommended early game weapon.
The damage is better than most of the one handed weapons. It also has a good DPS and damage on hit, making it a viable weapon even in midgame and in early endgame.
Crafting
Most Spears require a Pole and 1 piece of edge material such as Iron, with the Pole placed in the center with the material on top. Spartan Fire weapons require a Witherbone Pole instead of a regular Pole, barring steel.
