Waystone
Waystone is a structure added by the mod Waystones that allows teleportation to other 
Waystones and acts as a spawn point, similarly to a Bed.
Spawning
Waystones generate in Villages, with few exceptions, and rarely throughout the world. All naturally generated ones are indestructible.
Crafting
Waystones can be crafted and placed as blocks, and contrary to naturally generated ones, mined with a Pickaxe and picked up.
Usage
Right clicking a Waystone saves it as a destination, sets it as a spawn point and opens a menu listing destinations. The active Waystone can be renamed by clicking its name.
Additionally, Waystones can be teleported to with:
Return Scroll
- Allows choosing the destination
Recall Potion
- Faster than Return Scroll but teleports to spawn point
- Using in other Dimensions requires setting up a
Respawner Statue
- Faster than
Cost
Teleportation is free between Waystones up to 1000 blocks apart, beyond which it costs one level every 1000 blocks, up to a maximum of three (distance > 3000). Transdimensional travel, e.g. between the Nether and Overworld, always costs three levels.
Tips
- In case a Waystone spawn point is obstructed, a Return Scroll can be used to teleport to a different one
Trivia
- Depending on the version or setting, the increment between travel cost might be 2000 instead of 1000 blocks
