Lycanite mobs variants

While wondering, you might have noticed creature nametags, like Golden Roc, Dark Nymph, etc. These are Lycanite mobs colored variants. All mobs have 2 different variants, while some can also have a mini-boss variant. Variants have slightly increased health, damage and speed. Mini-bosses can be summoned or spawn naturally or by your actions. They have a boss bar that can show up at top of your screen, when you're near the chunks they appeared in, so you could see a boss bar of Phosphorescent Chupacabra, while it's actually somewhere deep in caves.

When defeated, colored variants give more experience than usual. Mini-bosses drop a guaranteed Creature Soulstone respective to their type.

Infernals

Infernals are most common mob variant you could meet, they have potion bubble particles surrounding them. When you look at them directly, you can see their health bar with their special traits written under. They have different tiers with different chances of spawning and number of traits they have. There are N number of traits in total, including Storm - that summons a lightning at you while you're under sky with cooldown, Sticky - which can snatch and drop your weapon from your hands, disarming you, Webber - which spawns a web at your legs and immobilizing you or Lifesteal - that heals mobs from attacking their enemy.

While challenging, they yield increased amount of experience and can drop enchanted gear, Glowing Ingots, Spectral Silt or even rare baubles.

Blights

Blights can be clearly distinguished by purple flame effect surrounding them. Almost any mob, aside from passive ones, can be blighted, including lycanite mob variants and infernals, but exluding champions. They are much stronger than normal enemy and a challenge for starting players, they have incredible speed, increased health, damage and can sometimes reflect direct damage back to you.

When killed, they give incredible amount of experience and heart crystal shards.

Champions

Champions are mobs surrounded by star particles. When you look at them you can see their tier shown by number of stars under their name and their traits.

When slain, they give increased amount of experience and random enchanted books in number corresponding to their star tier.
