The Saber is a weapon type added in Spartan Weaponry. It features 50% Chest Damage Bonus and 25% Damage Absorption.

Description
The Saber is a recommended early game weapon. It deals 1.5x damage to mobs without chestplatesNerf and has 25% Damage Absorption, with the damage going to weapon durability instead, making it effective at keeping the player alive. It also features Sweeping attack, making it effective at clearing out closely packed groups of unarmored mobs, like those in Doomlike Dungeons.
2.9 Nerf
- In 2.9, most hostile mobs have enough natural armor for the Chest Damage Bonus to be negated.
- This weapon is still useful for the 25% Damage Absorption.
Crafting
- 1 Handle (1 String/Plant String and a Stick)
- 3 Crafting materials (i.e. Stone, Iron, Gold, Diamond...).
Trivia
- Along with the Rapier, this used to be the arguably best weapon in RLCraft before being heavily nerfed in 2.9.
