Vespid Queen

Spawning

Vespid Queen can spawn in biomes that have the following biome tags:

• Jungle

Vespid Queen spawners can be found in Common Doomlike Dungeons, Frozen Doomlike Dungeons. Jungle Doomlike Dungeons, Mesa Doomlike Dungeons and Dungeons (Vanilla).

Behavior

The Vespid Queen apon spawning in does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and has other nearby Vespids build a square cube hive around itself.

The Vespid Queen will attack if you get too close. If a Conba is near a Vespid Queen, the Vespid Queen will sting the Conba once, infecting it. When the Conba dies, it will turn into 4-6 baby Vespids.

Taming

Vespid Queens can be tamed with insect treats, but they will not follow you as a pet and cannot be mounted. Instead, all of the Vespids that are a part of the hive of the Vespid Queen you tamed will be passive towards you, even if you attack them.

Uncommon Variants

For every Vespid Queen that spawns, there is a 10% chance for it to be an uncommon variant. Uncommon variants include Scarlet Vespid Queens, that have red skin, and Ashen Vespid Queens, that have dark blue/black/gray skin with a small splotch of white fur on the back near the head.
