Ancient Tome is a special enchantment book from Quark. It is used to upgrade maxed enchantments on an item by one extra level more than what is normally possible.
Obtaining
- Ancient Tome can not be crafted or created and can only be found in dungeons or villages as loot, or as a reward from Bountiful quests at a Village.
- Harder, more dangerous dungeons, like Mega Battle Towers and Doomlike Dungeons, are more likely to contain them.
Uses
- In order to use an Ancient Tome the player must hold it in their offhand and hold their tool, weapon or armour in the main hand, and then right click to apply the upgrade to their item. The item must have the compatible maxed out enchantment.
- A Disenchantment Table can be used to remove the Enchantment, getting the normal "lower tier" enchantment (ex. unbreaking IV enchantment book will become unbreaking III)
Curse Break
- Since Charm villager trades are disabled in the mod pack (due to duplication exploits), the Curse Break enchantment was also made an
Ancient Tome, making it a little easier to obtain. It must be disenchanted to an enchanted book that can be applied through an 
Anvil to remove a Curse.
