Serpix
Serpix are fearsome frost worms that live in the mountains. While they are rare, these beasts are very powerful.
Spawning
Serpix can spawn in biomes that have the following biome tags:
- Cold
- Snowy
- Coniferous
Serpix can spawn from Ooze.
Serpix spawners can be found in Dungeons (Vanilla).
Taming
Serpix can be tamed with Worm Treats.
Variants
For every Serpix that spawns, there is a 10% chance for it to be an Uncommon variants. Uncommon Serpix can be Azure or Verdant . An Azure Serpix is inverted but with the same colors, and a Verdant Serpix is green. Uncommon Serpix have double the health of a regular Serpix . This does not change their behavior.

Serpix , like other mobs from Lycanites Mobs, can spawn at higher Levels. Local Area Difficulty can increase the Lvl of an Crusk. Crusks spawned in Dungeons will also be higher Lvl than normal.
Behavior
Serpix will move quickly in a snake-like fashion and lash out at the target, applying hunger with their long mandibles, sometimes going underneath the ground to avoid attacks. Halberds are a preferred weapon for fighting Serpix , as they have longer reach and deal decent damage. Serpix move very fast, so it's a good idea to have a mount ready in case you need to retreat.
