Witherbone is a material introduced in Ice and Fire.
Usage
Witherbone is used to craft tools and weapons out of Dragon Bone and Myrmex Chitin, fulfilling the function of a Stick for these items. It is also used to make the Witherbone Handle and the Witherbone Pole, which are again used to make weapons out of Dragon Bone or Myrmex Chitin. A Witherbone can be turned into 3 Witherbone Shards, which are used to make Dragon Bone Arrows with Dragon Bone.
Witherbone is required for Demon Saddle.
Witherbones can be used to brew Potions of Decay from Mundane Potions.
Acquisition
Witherbones are dropped from Wither Skeletons and Cockatrices.
