Abaia
Abaia are small fish creatures from Lycanites Mobs that quickly hunt down the player in water and paralyze it.
Spawning
Abaia can spawn in any Overwold biome. Can only spawn in water.
Every time you catch a fish in water, there is a 2.35% chance of an Abaia to spawn.
Abaia spawners can be found in Oceanic Doomlike Dungeons and Dungeons (Vanilla).
Player Summoning
If the player has a Knowledge Rank of 2 of the Abaia, it can be summoned as a temporary allied minion with a Summoning Staff. They can not be tamed, only temporarily summoned. With Knowledge Level 2, the player can summon an uncommon abaia, which will have double the health.
variants
For every Abaia that spawns, there is a 10% chance for it to be an Uncommon variants. Uncommon Abaia can be Violet or Ashen. A Violet Abaia is purple with red fins, and an Ashen Abaia is a dark purplish-grey. Uncommon Abaia have higher stats than a regular Abaia. This does not change their behavior.

Abaia, like other mobs from Lycanites Mobs, can spawn at higher Levels. Local Area Difficulty can increase the Lvl of a Abaia.
Mottled Abaia
When an Abaia spawns, there is a 0.5% chance for a Mottled Abaia to spawn instead. A Mottled Abaia is a light purple color, with dark purple fins, and will have a boss bar when approached unless disabled in the config. A Mottled Abaia deals double damage, attacks twice as fast, and has 20x the normal health of a Abaia. A Mottled Abaia can also walk on land and in the water.
Behavior
Abaia will chase the player through the water and try to paralyze them and get the other nearby water mobs to attack the player too. Abaia inflict Paralysis when attacking, which completely disables the target's movement.
Abaia are very quick, and may sneak up on you. While one Abaia alone is not extremely dangerous, it may paralyze you and other water mobs will come to its aid to take you down. ru:Abaia
