Summoning Staff

The Summoning Staff is a Magic item added by Lycanites Mobs that can be used to summon various mobs as temporary minions. It requires a Magic Skill of 8.

Crafting

The basic Summoning Staff can be crafted with an Ender Pearl, a Bone, and a Gold Ingot.

​​​ It can be repaired with Gold Ingots on an anvil.

Variations

Alternate versions of the Summoning Staff can be crafted, with each bearing its own advantages and disadvantages.

Sturdy Summoning Staff

Boasts higher durability, but summoning costs more Focus.

Stable Summoning Staff

Summoned minions have a longer timer before naturally despawning.

Savage Summoning Staff

The amount of minions summoned is doubled, but each has its Health halved.

Blood Summoning Staff

Summoning cost is halved, but at the cost of player's health.

Usage

The Summoning Staff can summon temporary minions. The type and behavior of these entities can be customized in the Beastiary under the Summoning tab.

Summoning Focus

A full Summoning Focus.

Summoning Focus is the limiting factor as to the number and strength of the minions that can be summoned. The player's level of focus can be seen above the Hunger Bar while holding a Summoning Staff.

Each minion has a set Focus cost. Summoning minions will use Focus equivalent to that cost. Multiple minions can be summoned in succession.

Minions

Minions can only be summoned if Knowledge Rank 2 is obtained. Knowledge can be gained by:

• Being near the creature
• Killing the creature
• Using a Soulgazer

Variants can be summoned regardless of having been encountered in the wild. Contrary to wild mobs, summoned variants do not have stats differing from their normal form.

Minion Fusion

Certain Elemental-type minions can be summoned together, creating a more powerful minion.

This can be done by simply summoning the first minion then summoning the second nearby. All Minions summoned this way will be a higher level than normal.
